The Mid Island Family Market is a unique community event for families. Our market will be held twice a year (May and November) in Courtenay, BC, at the Native Sons Hall.
The Mid Island Family Market will feature over 30 stalls; a mixture of boutique, handmade, preloved (second hand), new and information/services. The Market will be held indoors in a large venue with a canteen that will serve a variety of delicious morning teas, snacks, and cold and hot drinks.

Why you need to be a vendor at the mid island family market |
You need to be a vendor at the Mid Island Family Market because it is the only market north Island created to showcase baby and kids items. Those attending the MIBKM are there for one reason...to find treasures for babies and kids! It's a no brainer.

Event LocationThe MIFM will be held at the Native Sons Hall in Courtenay, BC
The Native Sons Hall is a multi-use facility that features a larger space for weddings, conferences, seminars and special events. The centre is located at 260 Cliffe Ave – downtown Courtenay. |
Types of vendors |
HANDMADE
Our ideal vendor is one who handmakes or hand alters their creations and they must be baby and or kid friendly OR maternity / post partum. We want 70% of our vendors to fit this category. Of course you are the inspiration behind this market. BUSINESS A limited amount of booths are available for businesses. If you are a business interested in becoming a vendor please click on the sponsorship link in the menu at the top of this page. Business must be baby and or kid friendly OR maternity / post partum such as: Baby Store, Toy Store, Book Store, Photographers etc... DIRECT SALES Spaces are very limited for direct sales unless business is specific to children ie: Usborne Books, Discovery Toys. You are welcome to apply but spaces may already be filled and you may be asked to validate a %50 - %50 baby/kids to other item ratio. Exceptions are made to vendors who participated in our very first market in May 2016. FOOD We have the fabulous volunteers trees from the Comox Valley Children’s Day Care Society offering snacks treats coffee tea water and other beverages. They will also offer a pre order vendor only lunch. NON-PROFIT/INFORMATIONAL
If you fit this category, please email us at [email protected] with your organization name and plans for your space. We would like to have Public Health, Seatbelt Safety, Child Development Centres and Agencies etc... There is no table fee for non-profits. |
